The Friends of Yankee Lacrosse
The lacrosse program at Hamilton has overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to become the newest lacrosse program to join CIF’s City Section as part of LAUSD’s City League. The program is funded almost exclusively through private donations from individuals and local businesses. The Friends of Yankee Lacrosse is the dedicated group of “lacrosse loving” parents and sponsors working behind the scenes to make this program happen.

Alexander Hamilton HS
The perfect place for your child to excel both on the field and in the classroom.
Alexander Hamilton is much more than a traditional high school. It’s a vibrant learning complex. In addition to the regular high school, Hamilton has 6 small learning communities operating together on a single campus to provide a wide range of academic and extracurricular opportunities to its students. These small learning communities include Communication Arts, Global Studies, Business & Interactive Technology, Math, Science & Medicine, Humanities and the Academy of Music. Each of our unique learning communities is designed to meet both the personal and academic needs of our students that unfortunately often go unheeded in a larger school setting. We are committed to fostering a special sense of community with shared values that encourage high expectations, stresses hard work and is focused on the success of our students.
